Andre Döman - Partner


Andre matriculated from Grey College in Bloemfontein in 1976, after which he attended to his National Military Service at 1SAI Petallion. In 1978 he registered to the faculty of Law to obtain his B.Proc degree from the University of Free State. He was admitted as attorney in 1984 and obtained his High Court appearance in 2001.


Andre completed his Advanced Certificate in Insolvency Practice and Administration in 2014.


Andre started to practice for his own account  in White River in 1985 where he started his own firm, at present being Döman Weitsz Attorneys where he practices as named partner for over thirty years.

Jaco Weitsz - Partner


Jaco Matriculated from Rustenburg Technical High School in 1991 and obtained his B.Proc degree in 1996 and his LLB in 1998, both from the PU for CHE, Potchefstroom. During his time at the PU for CHE he was Member of different student bodies in period 1992 to 1998 including Member of the Central Student Council 1997- 1998 with the portfolio RAG.


Post graduate he obtained a certificate in Advanced Labour Law at the PU for CHE Potchefstroom in 1998. He joined the firm in 1999 as Article Clerk and was admitted as Attorney in 2001.


Jaco was appointed as partner of Doman & Kolbe Attorneys in 2003 and was made named partner of the firm in 2008.


Jaco was further appointed commissioner Small Claims Court 2012 tot 2015 and is currently also serving on following boards :

• Chairperson White River Primary School;

• Board member White River Pre Primary School;

• Board member Sand River Irrigation Board;

Leendert Viljoen - Partner


Leendert was born in Springs in 1990 but relocated to the Lowveld in 1996 where he matriculated at Sybrand Van Niekerk High School in Sabie in 2008. He then studied part time through Unisa towards a LLB degree which he successfully obtained in September 2018. 


Leendert has been doing his Articles of Clerkship since 2010 until he graduated in 2018.


Leendert joined the firm in 2019 where he was also admitted as an Attorney. In 2021 he was made a partner of Döman and Weitsz Attorneys.
